Maison de la Radio, Paris, France. In this 1961 concert from Maison de la Radio in Paris, jazz violinist StĂŠphane Grappelli is joined by drummer Daniel Humair, guitarist LĂŠo Petit, double bassist Guy Pedersen, and guitarist Pierre Cullaz. The concert opens with a rare solo piano performance by Grappelli, who also mastered the piano in addition to the violin. The program features evergreens from the gypsy jazz repertoire, such as Django Reinhardtâs âNuagesâ, and âMinor Swingâ, which was first released in 1937 by the famous Quintette du Hot Club de France, which included both Grappelli and Reinhardt.
