This time, it takes place at the beautiful Baroque church of Roros, a Norwegian mining town whose intact picturesque old town makes it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The talented Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang is the star soloist in Mendelssohn's songful Violin Concerto, Op. 64, which she plays with warmth, elegance and effortless virtuosity.
